Sounds like my first kiss. Nature doesn't always help us 'do it' gracefully. But it's fun to remember and blush so many years later!

I would highly suggest somewhere nice and warm, with a roof over your head and a big comfortable bed. Thus you'd at least have a chance at it being a more pleasant experience! It did, and continues to get better though, so even a horrible first time doesn't rule out eventual bliss... TB

That's an area of frankness I won't be talking about, but I applaud your description in an ouchily entertained way.

A boyfriend and I did plan a camping trip once ... but his mother wouldn't let him! He was 21 at the time and had been away to university, but, well, mummy was still a bit protective.

13. She was 14. It lasted ages in my head and maybe 10 seconds tops in reality. She put my hand down and it felt like a hamster I had which was nice. I didn't do that sort of thing to my hamster though.....

I too was a little later in life due to to shyness - as you say looking back there were oportunities.

Mine was at uni, completley unplanned, but absolutly brilliant. I must admit it is a fantastic memory and I can look back with fondness.

Having talked to close friends realise I am in the minority about having a fantastic experience - I do consider my self lucky in that respect.

That was a truly great entry. Made me feel so much better about being almost 20 and still a virgin- at least I don't have the added pressures of being a boy who is painfully shy like you did!

Age is no barrier, and you are not alone, even in this promiscuous age. Find the right partner, and when the time is appropriate, plan a bit and make it fun. TB
