Sorry you had to be here for that damned heat wave. We didn't even have air conditioning to make it survivable here in New Hampshire!
Luckily, sangria kept me sane. 
I did have aircon in the hotel room, but it was so bloody noisy, and not very effective, that I didn't sleep much. I had no sangria either. TB
Oh God, the heat, see that's why I swore I would never live in a place that had humidity again. Alas, I've not done well in that. Memphis, New York....now Scotland has the humidity, but the heat? hmmmmmmmm
Its the mix that's the killer. Scotland is just the reverse, cold and humid is totally horrid. Dry cold like Montana is actually kind of nice. TB
Oh yeah, and at least you've got fabulous cocktails!!! Although, being a man I'm sure you don't appreciate it as much as I, "sigh" nothing better than really high heals and a great drink...;-P
