The last time I came back from Paris on Eurostar there were a couple of real brats opposite us. Their parents were awfully nice people who reasoned with them the whole way, when they should just have told them. I was itching to tell the brats to behave.

But I'm a bit of a brat myself.

Wasn't my little angels, promise. True though, we've kind of lost the concept of discipline. Doesn't mean smacks and derision, just firm words and simple consequences. So long as its balanced with lots of love and cuddles. TB

That sounds like a great grad school! Did the Princess stay with the grownups, or was she at the kids table?

Too bad you're in Boston *now* -- in a couple of weeks the Fall foliage season will be in full swing and things will be gorgeous up here!

Well, she did the degree in Switzerland so meeting up in Paris seems appropriate somehow.

I know I'm missing tghe fall colours. The timing is just one of those things. TB

The worst part of ot seems like the battle home on the M25... Being a hardened M25 traveler I'm quite used to it!

However, I don't envy the week away in the States!

Oh, you are lucky to be near such treasures. It is such a hike from the US to see those lovely things...

There are advantages living in Europe. We just don't take advantage of them enough! TB
