The Boy on Top

Gravatar I remember being able to see leaves on treetops without glasses for the first time when I got lenses and it was wonderful. Won't be long before your brain takes it all for granted - but you'll still love it and appreciate your freedom from glasses.

Poor family - hope everyone's better soon. Croup is beastly, poor little Princess.

Yes, she was not a happy Princess at all last night. It took a lot of cuddles and strokes (and a bit of steam) to get her back to sleep, then again, then again... I'm a tired wee boy this morning. TB

Gravatar I hope everyone feels better soon. And I really hope you don't catch it!

I'm glad downgrading to 2 eyes is serving you well. Hope they settle down soon for you, you lucky begger.

Gravatar Ah, the joys of family. Share and share alike! Good luck staying well -- and enjoy your new vision, Two Eyes!

Amazing how any set of words can be turned around! Two eyes indeed...

Yes, we'll see if I survive the week not getting ill. TB

Gravatar Oooh hello - I've never been here before! :O)

Just wanted to say that it was seven years ago that I had my eyes done and it was the best money I have ever ever spent!

For six of those years, I had 20/20, but they did tell me it wouldn't last because of my age.

Now, I am just a tad short sighted, but not enough to need glasses or anything yet, and I still after all this time really love being able to see. Always useful eh?

So nice to nap on the sofa during a movie without having glasses digging into your head.

Even better to not put your glasses down and then spend twenty minutes trying to find them.

Crikey, listen to me going on...

...bet you wish I had stayed away?

OK, I'll go now then.

Welcome! Very glad you stopped by. I don't think I know a single person who's had their eyes done who regrets it. Quite looking forward to it! TB
