This counter-intuitive teaching of Christ is time-tested and persecution-tested. The meek don't get the attention, but they do prevail when the proud fall. I agree, Brad, practicing meekness and humility at work is sometimes difficult, but it always turn out to be the right way.

6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time,
7 casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.
Casting all our anxieties upon Him in Faith is the path to humility.

Hello, your website says 21st century reformation, I have been learning of the Geneva bible. It was the bible that had been translated during the 1500's and 1600's. It has had a reprinting in 2006.
