Good post Brannon, about something we all need to be remined of often. I just discovered Henri Nouwen last year, I would like to read more of his writings. Very insightful writer.

The second half of the post reminded me of a story that Hoskins told me about a priest who spent an entire semester lecturing on the Creeds....about halfway through the semester, no one was paying attention and all were getting a little irritated. Finally, one student jumps to his feet and shouts, "Nobody cares about this stuff! None of this is relevant for any of us!"
The priest smiles and says,"Oh, I'm sorry. You thought the Creeds were about you?"
