It sounds like you're speaking from experience in regards to "bumping elbows." :-) So glad to hear about how things are going in Alabama. I've been keeping you two in my prayers!
I do have a prayer request: I have been given the opportunity to go visit a certain part of Asia early next year. It is my desire to become a missionary to that part of the world, and a trip there would help me officially decide for certain whether or not that is a goal that I should pursue. Please pray that this trip works out, and that God will make His will clear to me.

Good points on "brushing elbows".
Proverbs says, "Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings;"

Hannah & Marshall: We'll be praying for both of you. Place your trust in the Lord, He is altogether wise, altogether good, altogether powerful.

Oh, Hannah, no I do not speak from experience (i.e. I haven't bumped elbows with any famous people while eating with them). But I have had the opportunity to "brush elbows" with famous people because, among other things, I have worked on my social etiquette, table manners, etc.

*curtsies* Pardon me, I pray. My statement was meant only in jest.
(Practicing my social etiquette.)
But seriously, what kind of stuff are ya'll doing as interns (besides getting to hear Justice Thomas speak)?

I liked the "bumping elbows" comment also(appears you have a winner ). It seems that if we are able to polish a certain positive characteristic at home with our family, it is not nearly so difficult to apply it with ease elsewhere.
God bless!

Hannah: haha! There's quite a contrast between the first half of your comment where you're practicing etiquette and the second half which included "stuff," "ya'll," etc. [/mean teasing]
In answer to your question, though, we haven't really elaborated on our duties at the court because we still haven't discussed with Justice Parker what we can and can't say about the work going on. I hope you understand. We're as eager to share as you guys are eager to hear, we just have wait a little bit.
But don't worry, we'll let you know as soon as we can. =)
Bill: That's great! We'd love if you could come to our conference. We'll be sharing the details as soon as we have them, so keep posted!
Sarah: That's exactly right. The home is that lonely stage upon which our future actions are previewed and practiced. As young people, living at home, we are performing the dress rehearsal of our lives.

Hey, Amen on the bumbing elbows comment.
I agree wholeheartedly. I'm working on the finer social graces myself.
But even opening the doors for Ladies tends to get attention. It's a really strange society when that kind of thing is considered going the extra mile, instead of common courtesy.
God Bless you guys, and keep brushing elbows!
In Christ, John.
