And you really need to see an Alaskan summer sun-set. Although, those really don't exist, because the sun doesn't reall 'set'.

Instead, it circles. So we get a 7 hour sunset/sunrise in one. It's beautiful. I wanted to capture it in time lapse with my camera, but I didn't know how back then. Now I live in Texas.

Wow! I was reading your section on the polar twins and was amazed to discover that it almost exactly described my mother and her twin sister! The stories are very similar - the doctor told their parents that they were identical at birth, and they have the same eye & hair color and similar features, but they do have different body builds in some ways(shorter & longer waistlines) that are clearly not identical! It was intriguing to discover that there is an "inbetween" type of twins!:) Thanks for sharing.
