That's really cool. "Do Hard Things" is much easier said than done, but here is yet another demonstration that it is certainly possible. I'd be greatly interested in Michael's political views and whether or not he is saved, etc.

Wow!

Congratulations Michael!

This reminds me of 1'st Timothy Chapter 4, where it says 'Let no man despise thy youth; but be an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirity, in faith, and in purity.'

I love that verse.

Great going Mayor!

I think it's awesome that Michael truly honors his parents.

And he's got determination; a go-getter.
Keep at it!

I really admire his determination and how he set a hard goal for himself and achieved it.

WOW...an 18 year old mayor?!?!? That really makes me think..."I really CAN do big things for God!"
I would really love to know if he's a Christian.

very cool that an 18 year old can be voted in mayor by his parents' two votes.

awesome, awesome, awesome.

Might I add that Michael is mayor of *my* adopted town, as a Hillsdale College student? As well as that HC rocks and every smart, spunky young person needs to come here for school.

Including you two. ;-)

Joy! Thanks for commenting! You know, when you put it that way...

God bless you! Our prayers remain with you and your family.

do we have any update on Mr Sessions Administation?

Heres an update...

Mr. Sessions just pled "no contest" to misdemeanor charges.... http://hillsdale.net/stories/ 070...sionsplea.shtml
