Wow--we could certainly use more bloggers like Mr. Kauflin. I really enjoyed the post. Just wanted to let you know I recently discovered your site (through Karen Kovaka, incidentally) and love what you guys are doing. Seeing blogs like yours inspired me to take up blogging for myself, actually. I doubt I'll win any awards from you guys, but feel free to check it out any time. While I'm at it, I will give you a great one to look at--www.uncreativelaura.blogspot.com. She first introduced me to the world of blogs, and she certainly has a spectacular one. |

"Post of the week" is a great idea. Keep up the good work. -- SL |

Hey guys, I like this. Bob Kauflin has excellent points. As I commented there, the only thing I wonder about is his emphasis on "the local church" over the Body of Christ, which is "universal." Certainly the Scriptural mandates which pertain to the latter (love, truth, forbearance, etc.) are the important principles which should govern Christian blogging, given that Bob is not dealing with denominational ("local") nuances. |
|
There is a maturity and depth in Bob's blog that I have lacked in seeing almost anywhere. I once found a blog that stated in it's header that is was full of "rash comments, shallow insight and wonderfully misplaced priorities. In other words, I am everything the Blog world thinks it's not!" |
|
Great idea, guys! *off to read Kauflin's article* |

Gideon: We're glad you enjoyed Mr. Kauflin's articles. Thanks for the link to your friends blog. |

I certainly did love it, and I have now bookmarked his blog ;) Tell Joel he has to do one now too. He's kind of outside the loop! |
|
Mr. Kauflin's article was excellent, you guys made a great choice for post of the week! :) |

Brett, Mr. Kauflin must have found my question off-topic, but I did indeed ask it. I am interested in these things myself. Thanks again- |
