Awesome topic and post, Gabby! That is a very challenging reminder that we need to live out what we hear, as well as what we say! Congratulations on being published here. It is a great honor. If you ever start blogging, let me know and I'll be sure to read your blog :-)

Thank you, Gabby.
This post came in God's perfect timing; I really needed to hear it today of all days.
In Christ,

Problem:
No one knows _all_ of the Truth. Thus, the Truth is not instilled that much and that deeply to affect all the parts of the human psyche.
Human reasoning gives way to human mind easily because it is drawn from a human psyche. Truth is not of this world. Thus is it harder, if not impossble, for the human mind and soul to fully grasp.

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the encouraging comments!
Dan, when I said that I know "The Truth" I was alluding to Jesus's declaration that He is the Truth (John 14:6). You are right, we can't fully grasp truth because it isn't of this world, but the little that we understand of Jesus (and the Trinity) should set us on fire. Has He not saved us from hell?? And in additon given us so many other blessings? No, I don't fully understand, grasp or realize the full power of the Truth, but I know what He has done for me, and I'm able to grasp that.

Sorry, I should have said "Hey Guys and Gals" for the girls that posted comments, as I know most rebelutionary girls are very concerned with being Biblically feminine and I would NOT want to undermine the value of that, as it would be to undermine myself. :) Though, I'm not advocating politically correct everything (Bibles for instance), just recognizing the value of femininity.

Great post, Gabby. We should fight harder than those who stand for lies. Thank you for writing this and letting us know about the Vietminh!

Excellent post Gabby. You've given us a history lesson, and a great spirtual lesson both. We're fighting for a greater cause, a much greater cause, but on an entirely different level. Let's remember who's commanding our army, and where our ammunition is stored!
God Bless!

Fantastic post, Gabby!
Unfortunately, people tend to fight for evil harder than they fight for good. It's our sinful nature. Without God, we can't fight for truth. Thank you for writing this.

I hope by 'fighting' you mean loving. The Good News isn't spread by violence and self-righteousness, but by love and humility.
It is true that our own spirituality can be negatively affected by the false pursuits of others, but we must only show them more love, more compassion, and continue to forgive.
It takes someone of superficial faith to attack their enemies; it takes someone of true faith to love their enemies.
May we all use the example of the Vietminh to commit even more strongly to the spiritual gift of forgiveness, and may this in turn help us deepend our faith in Christ.

Thanks for that Gabby. I have been struggling a lot lately with standing up for my faith.. especially in my school.
Since we have a much greater cause we should be the ones fighting harder, but it is so easy to become weary in well-doing. Thanks for that challenging post =]

Hey ya'll who've commented,
Thanks again! I just wanted to say that since this post (and other things that were going on right around that time) I've really been getting "weary of well-doing" as Jenni said, but I'm reminded of one of my favorite verses--Isaiah 40: 31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint. Ultimately, we have an AMAZING God who instructs us to fight, but also He gives us the strength to do it. I haven't, can't and won't be able to do it on my own, but God gives His strength so that we all can continue on. Praise Him!

Thanks Gabby,
That last comment really encouraged me, as I am feeling rather overwhelmed right now. And great post! Thanks for the reminder that we know the Truth-a truth not only worth dying but living for.
Robarm, I think your right, in that we are called to love. But this is most definitely a fight. I think Ephesians 6 makes it clear that we are in a battle. That our struggle is not “against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” [Ephesians 6:12] We are called to fight with, “the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God.” [Eph. 6:17] In other words, we know the Truth, and the Truth is what sets us free. Though it may cost us our lives, we are to fight along side our God.

Great post. It should be a challenge and a wake-up call for all Christians to see the dedication of the enemy to advancing their agenda. When we grow lazy in standing up for Christ and His truth, the enemy will take that opportunity to promote lies. This post is an excellent example of why we should always be clad in the full armor of God. We alone cannot maintain a dedication to truth to match Satan's dedication to lies, but we must always remember that He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world.
