For unknown reasons the members voted to let Mr Rafter continue...
I'll tell you the reason, because you're to ignorant to come to the conclusion yourself, it's because Joe McGhee split the vote. The majority of the members that voted, 282 of them, wanted Rafter out. If Joe would have not run, then the 110 votes he received would have gone to Brian and Rafter would have overwhelmingly been ousted. But because ignorance and arrogance blurred the vision of the handful of people responisble for this blog and the promotion of Joe McGhee, we will all endure another 3 years of being BUTT FUCKED BY JOHN RAFTER!
You would have to assume that all the people that supported Joe would have voted for Brian. Some people would have voted for John to advoid a law suit that Brian was unwilling to tell anybody about including his running partners.
A lot of the people who voted for Joe would not have voted for Brian; I know that for a fact.
Most of the vote for Brian was a vote AGAINST Rafter, and not an affirmative vote for Brian.
What Brian was too pig-headed to realize was that John had DISQUALIFIED Brian, by means of his manipulation of the sexual harassment case.
Where would Brian be, and where would the rest of us be, if Brian had stepped out and endorsed Joe? I'm confident in saying that Rafter would be out right now. But if Joe had not got in and Brian won.... where would we be right now?
We would still be up shit creek.
Brian used bad judgment and put himself and the local in the worst possible position because he tried to drag that lawsuit into office with him.
Assuming that Rafter will hold his job for another 3 years is too pessimistic, tho. Joe did the research and found evidence of crime.
The election didn't solve the problem. Now we can look at other remedies.
Yeah. Brian went so far as to CONCEAL THE FACT that a lawsuit had been filed. As soon as he found out about it he should have called Joe and told him about it and offered his support.
