I wonder how he will handle it tonight, when you come home. He may sleep a lot while you're gone and then want to play.
I'd be thrilled if he wants to play for a few hours. That will get him on my schedule!
Sixteen pounds, oh, he will be a bigger boy (um, well, almost boy) than I thought. Have you considered doing the doggie door thing for him?
And yes, congrats on working in the anal sac thing.
The doggie door is definitely a possibility. I will wait until he's a little bigger because I don't want him in the backyard alone when he's so small - there are owls and other types of predators in the area and he's so little right now.
