I recently saw a knitting pattern somewhere on the internet that produced a fabric almost identical to your Aegean Leather jacket.

We have a barn out behind our house and that is where we store all of our broken small appliances, etc just in case they should become miraculously useful again at some point. We sort through it once a year or so and get rid of it all so that we can start all over again with more recent stuff.

(giggling still at penguins in Tulsa. The moose theme seemed to work better here and I have no doubt there were tourists that were fooled. The kind of tourists who come up here from upstate NY with skis on the top of their cars in the middle of July and say \"where's the snow?\")

Do you have a yarn sale to unload the broken appliances? I have 2 old irons and a humidifier I could contribute. I'm not sure how long it takes for these things to become magically operational again... from the age of some of my stuff, more than 10 years from the look of it.

That knitting pattern sounds fab. I shall have to try to hunt it down.

I think it was either last year or the year before when Boston had painted cows all over the city. It was fun, there were lots of them. My favorite was the wooden Trojan Cow at South Station.

$\"Gravatar\"$ No, no yard sales, it is piled into the back of the truck and taken to the Waste to Energy facility. The dog refuses to get in the back of the truck, he is like NO FREAKIN WAY, I have seen too much stuff leave in the back of that truck and never come back.

Holly - LOVE the disco ball story! They had some cute leatherman mooses in the gayberhood here. I believe that they auctioned off the mooses eventually so they are all probably sitting in rich people's backyards right now.
