Gravatar Speaking of bamboo yarn, have I mentioned that my bday gift to my man last year was a lovely soft pair of blue underpants made with soy fabric?

Talk about soft! I just want to keep rubbing them, even after he takes them off....*L*

Gravatar Beautiful! I love the vegan Tuscany, and I bet she will too.

Happy Greek Independence Day!

Gravatar Like Sequana, I also made some boxer shorts for Robert. I used red cotton and they just get softer every time they are washed. That vegan Tuscany is really pretty. I like the colors. a lot.

Gravatar Both shawls look fabulous. I've got Tuscany in my queue....

Your friend will be very pleased!

Gravatar Thanks, Kim - I think you'll enjoy knitting the Tuscany.

Gravatar Hmm... boxer shorts. You naughty ladies, you. Will have to keep that in mind. I had made underwear for myself out of bamboo once upon a time... heh heh

Gravatar Another gorgeous shawl off the needles..........I can't believe how quick you are. You'd be finished while I would still thinking about it! LOL! But then I'm not gonna knit lace!

Gravatar Awesome Tuscany! I'm inspired to get back to work on mine now...

I think the weightier yarn is a nice choice - it really showcases the pattern. I did mine in sea silk instead of silken for budgetary reasons (as if that were really a big savings!) but I wish I had chosen the silken.

Cheers.

Gravatar Kelly - I find as well that the weightier yarn shows the pattern better... and actually, I only used two skeins of Silken for mine. Good luck with yours!
