I have taken a moment in silence to refect on the tragically short life of the glue gun and to give thanks for the the fleeting time that you were able to share with the glue gun.
It's so sad, snuffed out in the prime of it's life WHY WHY WHY???
In 1977, I was in the 6th grade without a care in the world. Six short years later, it was a whole different story. Man, if I had known in 1977 what I know now, I would have done at least part of it very differently. But I wouldn't change the other parts for the world.

Thank you for your kind condolences, Amy. As I'm in a somber and reflective mood, I'm with you on the "had I known what I know today" front... but it's best for kids to be kids, no?

Hoo, boy, that's what I need, Haste makes Waste signage. I totally relate to the need to smoke while crafting--though I've mostly given up the smoking. (I do partake socially, though. (Don't tell Seven.))

Your secret's safe with me.
Good for you to cutting it back to social only. I can't seem to manage that.

Cyanide is also in scotch. Just a reccommedation for the next requiem.
Ode to a Glue Gun
My glue gun was
A good friend of mine.
One day I killed it,
And my heart very nearly died.

Oh - thank you for the poem. How lovely! May I write it on the back of my piece and attribute you?
Didn't know that about scotch. Will have to quote that one at JJ when next he is beefing about my smoking.
