The most unfortunate thing about that tragic day is that it has been exploited by political opportunists, especially at the Federal level. If one looks back to the days and weeks leading up to the event, where was the Bush administration? They intentionally turned a blind eye to the warnings \"Bin Laden determined to strike the US\", let it happen and suddenly, the lazy, crass moron became a national hero, not because of his qualities, but because of the emotion that brought out the time-tested patriotism that Americans have within them. And for the roadkill over at Kate's little hatefest to grab onto this and criticize you for it, shows their level, or lack of, intelligence. Good on you, and this was by far your best post.
