Exactly! It's all there for the taking, they just need to pick up the ball and run with it.

What the dems should really do (IMO) is just try and imagine that they are in power, they were the ones that started the idiotic war, made all these fuckups etc. Imagine what the republicans would do to them... and do it to the republicans.

We shouldn't have to be complaining about the US gov't, but their policies have had global consequences. Even more profound consequences for us now that we have Harper.
