Great post, Bruce. I couldn't agree more that a lot of rich people need to get an injection of reality by losing a lot of money.
I am pissed off that this thing is being used as a political football and causing so much instability instead of everyone just getting down to solving it somehow. However, I'm really starting to think this bailout deal was a trap, and I'm glad the Democrats didn't fall into it.

Nobody ever plans on falling in love, though. It always seems to happen when we're trying to get something else done. Kinda like looking for your glasses and finding that sock you lost last year, then realizing your glasses were on your nose all the time.
