Why it took years: Charles Dolan and Msgr. Hartmann are close, so perhaps Telecare was pushed instead of EWTN. Also, Dolan tried to start a network for Catholics called American Catholic which did not go anywhere, so perhaps he didn't want the 'competition'. I think at this point, Cablevision is learning what the Catholic bishops learned about EWTN: you can't beat it so don't bother.

I was so excited to find EWTN on Channel 135 the other day. All my favorite programs always came on during Telecare time.

I have been praying for this since 1994, but have since moved to CT where EWTN has always been on basic Cable with Charter Communications.
