if i could have had ten children, i would have. they are tremendous blessings (even when i am looking toward the sky and asking "why?")
that anyone would make a comment about your family's size is beyond me. as julie would say, "Lord, have mercy on me and bless them..."

You wrote: "So far in the past few years I've seen counties pass laws to dictate how many square feet or how many bedrooms a family must have per person"
REALLY??? whoa. Glad it's not my county, or glad that I am blissfully ignorant of it if it is! And how on earth would they be able to enforce such a thing?
Anyway, congrats on this latest one. Prayers for a healthy pregnancy and birth. God bless!

I loved that one, too!! (The Young and the Roostless) ROFL!
I only have three children (would love to have more), but so many of my Catholic homeschooling friends have 5 or more (some as many as 12). Their children are the most polite, well-behaved, well-mannered and well-adjusted children I've ever met.
Love your blog, by the way!
God Bless,
Dawn

"and we were taking up their valuable time purchasing vegetables and milk?"
How DARE you!!!
I am the mother of three. A man looked at my three girls the other day and asked, "Are they ALL yours?" When I said yes, he replied, "Are you trying to set the subdivision record or what?" It's a sad day when having three children some sort of record.
God bless you and Joel for bringing up that gaggle of saints!
Hugs,
Kim
