I am constantly amazed at some people - even those who are Catholic. I was called to Christ's Service when I was 14 years old. I knew then what I was meant to do, and where I was going to go with my life. I met great resistance from many Catholics who felt that someone so \"young\" could never make that decision. People in this nation have seriously lost touch with the teachings and message presented to us by Christ and the Gospels. The self-righteous and rather pretentious attitudes we are seeing in some have become so commonplace that I am sometimes left with the feeling that all I can do is pray for such people, for God alone can touch their hearts - be it His will to do so. He was beaten, mocked, tortured, and killed and didn't even have to die for the people He knew would hate Him. But He died for EVERYONE. He loved us all to the death, and this is how we should love others: \"Love one another as I have loved you.\" I hope more people will perform that unconditional love.

I think that seeing the coldness of her supporters may have actually made this woman rethink her position just a little. Now if she'd stop hanging out in places that support loopy thinking, maybe she could do some growing.

$\"Gravatar\"$ That's so sad. This isn't even a Christian thing, or a Democrat vs. Republican thing, it's an issue of the absolute basics in humanity. Helping out those in need should be second to eating and breathing for human beings, no matter the political bent of the person in need.

I was in a huge wreck last year, one that landed my Jeep up on its side. No less than 15 people stopped to help. That she cannot look past her ideological differences with someone in need and HELP shows a complete lack of humanity. Jeez.
