We got five copies (Dave had them 1/2 price on his site through 12-31) to send to family members. We're going to compose a letter with our so-far story. When we added up what we paid off, plus the "emergencies" with the car and my medical bills, it comes to a number that would blow your mind. (I know this because it blew my mind.)

We have one big thing to pay off (we moved a large credit card bill to a loan w/ our credit union when the minimum kept going up despite our being on time or early with payments), then the full emergency fund, and then I stop working. We think - if we are real gazelles - that we can pay off the big thing by the end of this year. But if not, we'll be mighty close. My security gland is SOO relaxed!

Christina, when everything settles down and our two families are debt-free, we'll have to arrange to meet. Let me know if you're ever in SW Virginia.
