Isn't it the truth?! I get so miffed by the above, and let me add lectors with indecent outfits(we have a gorgeous young woman whose minis are so mini, that when she bows before reading, she must cover her underwear with her hand-how modest!) that I have to confess my lack of charitable thoughts towards them. Mostly I would consider them victims of a culture of disrespect for things holy, and lack of catechesis. No, they most likely never heard of the Communion fast.
