I know he was making a joke :-P but I felt the need to point out the damn foolishness of the idea. Call it preventative medicin. 
I also agree Arnold is not going to sell out the country if he became President, hell I would say he loves this country more then a lot of people born here. Nonetheless i am in the not take chances camp on this one. There are some of our laws which should remain as black and white as they are.
It's not just political correctness. After all, the idea behind Article II is, in essence, to keep the US from coming under control or influence of a foreign power. I don't think that Arnold is really an Austrian agent just waiting to take over the country so that his birthland can claim its place in the world. On the other hand, maybe we shouldn't be taking any chances. So I can see both sides of things.
As far as calling people morons goes, the Republicans definitely aren't the morons if they can swing this in the direction they want it to go. But the rest of us are, of course, morons for falling for any of it.
And as for Maher's comments, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that he was making a joke, one which I'm just perpetuating
But honestly, we all know that this country is already fucked as it is. So I really think that all we can do at this point is sit back and (try to) enjoy the show.

Article II needs to stay just where it is. There are good reasons it's there. This is Political Correctness run amok and it's just so fucking clever the republicains are turning it to their own ends. Morons. They are all fucking morons! Does DC turn them into morons, or is it like the moron magnet of the world?
As for the 22nd Amendment, Maher knows better and he shouldn't suggest such a dangerous idea to people who don't. Did I mention the morons? As much as I love Clinton, and go dod I wish he was President still, you do not go making it easier for men who seek power to take over the country.
