The Nautical Museum down by the statue of Columbus is phenomenal. It is housed in a Medeival shipyard, one of the largest public works structures surviving erect in Europe -- go in mid-morning and you can stroll around the waterfront afterwards, and pick a nice seafood restarant for a late lunch.
Similarly, you can take the city bus to El Parque Guell (and Gaudi museum) and then walk downhill into Barcelona (and from there, it is all downhill).
I also recommend a visit to El Boqueria market, right off Las Ramblas -- you will see every kind of food available in Barcelona.
Lest you get the completely accurate idea I travel for my tummy, I'll also recommend a visit to La Tomaquera (Magarit 5 , which cooks everything over an open fire and features the best grilled artichokes in the world -- and some of the best Pa amb Tomaquet (grilled tomato bread) in the city.

That address should be Magarit 58 for La Tomaquera.

I'd like to think of it more as MTV going Vision Festival than the other way around....pretty cool to see William Parker on the front page of Urge.com as well as on:

Hey! I will be in Barcelona from June, 28th to July, 1st. Not for business (RTT's joy!), but for the Masada shows (see here : http://www.erjn.it/saudades/
conc...erts.htm#masada ). See you there, Mwanji ?
