Another great post. I believe your examples would fall on deaf ears since most do not understand the basics of how their economy and government work. I was speaking to an older friend who recently retired. In discussing the current problems he mentioned that he wasn't worried because of the gold standard...I'll let that sink in for a moment.. That's how long it took me to wrap my brain around his misconception. I'm still trying to explain it to him...
