I am still in bargaining over health care and cap and trade. If we can prevent those monsterous disasters from becoming law in anything but a neutered form we will be able to correct part of this mess with some pain. If those pass they will have serious long term affects that I see no way to change once they become law because no one has the will to repeal such things (like medicare-D).

So if those two don't pass then we just have the debt that can be inflated away or taxed away or both (probably both). And its painful but you can come out the other side ok after you take some lumps. If those pass then you have added more weight to this economy than anything FDR or LBJ did and the American economy may never be the same again.

Not that I have any fight in me either. My thought is head south, wait tables, enjoy the sun and margaritas.
