What do you think?

Gravatar Christine, your garden sounds great! I'd love to have a veggie garden someday. And I'm envious of your new kitchen cabinets! We need them so badly, but the house needs so many other things right now, that I don't know when we'll ever get to the kitchen. I completely understand the feeling of not having enough quality time for friends and family. I remember after getting married and getting the house how suddenly there just wasn't enough time in a day to get everything done anymore, nevermind seeing friends and family, too! Sometimes I really miss the single life--not because I'm unhappy in my marriage, but because I had so much more time for myself, and for the relationships outside of my marriage. Sometimes I feel like a slave to this house and yard, too. That's what happens when you buy a fixer-upper, lol... On the other hand, it's a wonderful feeling when you step back and see how your hard work pays off.

Gravatar I've certainly had days like that on the job too, I think even the most confident person does if they're completely honest with themselves. {{{hugs}}}

Congrats on getting the cabinets, I bet they'll look great!

I'm so jealous of your garden. We just have too many animals (groundhogs, foxes, rabbits, deer) in our neighborhood and no matter what type of fencing you try, they seem to find a way around it

Gravatar I'm glad you had a good weekend! Your garden sounds awesome. Have you ever tried roasting asparagus? Just spray them with a bit of olive oil, any seasoning you might like, then put them under the broiler and lightly brown them... it only takes a couple of minutes and they're delicious!

I hope you have a good week at work!

Gravatar You know that I've felt exactly that same way about my job :D All we can hope is the good days out number those ugly days. It will get better !

Your garden and house sound incredible. And they must be such a fulfilling experience outside of work. You are right thought, there aren't enough hours in the day. Trying to fit family, friends, home, garden, renovations, and that pesky work into a week seems almost impossible, doesn't it ? But do it. Somehow make the time. Family and friends are what will see you through those crappy job-related days and keep you sane.

*hugs*

Gravatar Awww sorry you've been having a crummy time at work Petal. Hope you're feeling better this week. xx

Gravatar Your garden is going to be awesome! You must take some pics of it as things start to grow.

I hope work is looking up for you!

Gravatar Just wanted to add some hugs to everyone elses - there are days tht working is terrible, no matter how experienced or how good you are at your job.

Gravatar Just wanted to add some hugs too, I've had some recent days like that at my job too and they just stink! Glad you're feeling better about it though and that you're enjoying Spring at your new house
