Gravatar Nice job, Alasandra. I was thinking about posting about the same entry over the weekend, but had a bit of other work to do with the carnival. I was curious about the testing thing as well...It comes up frequently as proof that homeschoolers provide at least as good an education as the public school. I had never heard of people using the CAT, ISTEP or other such assessments in that conclusion. Everything I've read talks about the ACT and SAT, which you definitely cannot take at home!

And on college...he thinks homeschooled kids shouldn't be accepted because of what he sees as problems? That's why, after experience with homeschoolers, colleges and universities have begun to actively recruit homeschoolers? Those who actually have to deal with these awful effects of homeschooling don't seem to see the same problems.
