i just played hoops at the Y. no bball shoes hurt. getting run by a bunch of 20 year old brooklyn high school kids was an eye opener. i think if my knees don't fall off i actually could still put something respectable together.

of all sports, basketball has the widest gap between funness watching (almost zero fun or maybe like mediocre fun) and funness playing (big kwachas fun).
