yes i prefer dags too but it was like 11:30 at night so I braved Gristede's (for the last time). i think that one out of every four people wandering the aisles at that Gristede's is homeless.

you're not far off. one time i was in that pizza place next door to gristedes, this guy was just sitting at a table staring out the window (before they remodeled it), not eating - i got up and left, went into gristedes, there's guys in there in white jackets runing up and down the aisles-- turns out the guy in the pizza place had been creating a ruckus in there, he was a bellevue escapee... the guy stocking the shelves said it happened 'kind of a lot', that it wasn't the first or even second time he'd seen it.
