You: Brooce Springstern - 'The River'
Me: Sugarcubes - 'Life's Too Good'
Somewhere in my parents' basement I still have a pretty impressive collection of those long skinny boxes that CDs used to come in so they could stand up in the LP bins. I'm gonna retire on that shit someday. In high school I would decorate my walls with them.

Two memorable baseball games that I've attended were at Wrigley Field, where stuff like this is liable to happen ------>

nice, cw, that would've been my guess, so I'll have to go with:
Hans: Bruce Springsteen - Born to Run
Joe: I have no idea, really. But in 6th grade, my woman at the time gave me a cassette tape of Rod Stewart's "Camouflage." Good stuff.

i didn't buy a CD until the mid 1990s and i believe the first was a promotional copy of 'mellow gold' w/ radio edits ... for $5.
i'd say hans's first, keeping on the bruce tip, was 'born in the usa,' to replace his wore out casette copy.

10 genius points to the person who can figure out the first CD I ever received as a gift.
Hints:
1. I got it in 1990
2. My older brother believed I was gay, and he picked this CD out to show his support

Dan K.:
MILLI VANILLI - Girl You Know It's True
I used to hold myself and cry listening to that album.
Hans: You still owe me some points.

The Beastie Boys allegedly wanted to call their first album 'Don't Be A Fag' so I'm voting for that.
I once knew a gay guy from a macho L.I. family. When his dad found out he was a Brokebacker, he sat his son down on a Sunday with a six-pack of Bud and forced him to watch the Giants game. Didn't work; dude's still gay.

cW- i totally used to do that too, with the cd boxes. i had the walls covered.
then when i moved out of my parents house my sister ripped them all down (she was always jealous of that collection)
i threw them out a couple of years later, let me know if you ever get to sell them...so i can kick myself.
