According to the DOL, that $6.20 has the same buying power as $8.63 in 2005. So, even allowing for a modest increase for 2006, it looks like the Trayline gig is outpacing inflation.

Those stats don't impress me though. The real question is: how many beers could you buy for $6.20 then versus now?
