joe, as much as i like soccer, which is actually quite a bit - i am 50% teutonic ya'know, so it's kind o' in the blood. i don't think anyone could ever make me believe that offsides is a good rule either. it just doesn't make sense to me. i mean here's a game, where if use the afterburners to blow by the D, you can be penalized if you don't take off at the right time. fuck it, if you can take your man you sould be allowed to do it whenever it goddamn well pleases you to do so. they got get rid of that shit...

and, don't give me cry-baby crap about dudes cherry pickin' and what not...if you was on my squad and cherry pickin' and not runnin' the field i'd sit your ass down...i generally think it would totally add another dimension to the game...but, then again i watch soccer what, once every 4 years, so w-t-f do i know.
