hmmm. at first i though it likely it wasn't "Amy" who answered the phone but on firther thought ..could be. asuming it wasn't, in college a lotta people had roomies they hated taking phone messages for (*i was one of those people). she probably never got th message and you were lame for not following up in SOME capacity.

everybody went 6 for 6 in both games... there were no outs made by anybody on either side - I nearly forgot that we made a gentlemen's agreement to simply take the field after 10 minutes of successful batting

I think we need to come up with a new way of cutting down on all the offense - wood bats, overhand pitching, maybe only get two swings...

or maybe we just punt the scorebook

It was definitely her roommate.

Amy definitely never got the message. No phone message in the history of the world has ever been successfully delivered by one dormmate to another.

Had Amy gotten the message, she would've called you back, and gone on a date. It wqould've gone okay, but the spark would not have been there. You would still have the same job you have today.
