i just watched that web tutorial ... wow that iphone deal is scarily awesome. i wonder if it will have any weaknesses in its early revs like battery or what-have-you?

i'll bet those apple guys were giggling mightly when microsoft made such a big deal out of the zune player knowing what they were about to roll out.

verizon always seems to be the last out with new tech, i'll probably wait for that if i get one, hopefully any bugs will be worked out by then.

battery life when used for non-music (phone/video/web) says up to 5 hrs, that sounds right - i have a pocket pc with a similar sized screen that gets about that in heavy use of those functions, it's definitely a hinderance, you have to have 2 batteries - i wonder if this has a switchable battery? probably not...

apple better figure out a way to make a switchable battery or something (included solar charger?) before finalizing this IMO. i go to backup battery pretty often on my pocket pc - browsing verbungle on the bus ride to work, a half hour phone call, and an hour or so of music and i'm down to like 25% battery by the time i remember to dock it at work.
