Yeah, I did a bunch of those things this weekend.

Actually, instead, in a desperate attempt to get out of the house in the midst of the horrible cold, we took our daughter to the Palisades Mall, where she and I crawled around these kid-sized hamster tubes for about an hour while parents of other kids sat fifteen feet below us, fuming that I had obviously not seen the sign that said "adults are not allowed in the tubes."

Kids look funny when their hair stands up from static electricity.

Actually that IS kinda how I spent my weekend.

Then I worked Sunday night and listened to a co-worker talk about how much his life has changed now that he has an infant. The funny thing was, we both were exhausted and looked a mess, but for very different reasons.

I shared with him some crazy weekend stories and he ate them up like strained peas on a rubber spoon. He was practically drooling from jealousy.

But I have to admit his baby stories sounded pretty good to me too. The grass is always greener I guess. Speaking of, pass the grass...
