there is zero chance obama will actively thwart the civil rights of GLB's etc if he's in the white house.

obama is a pragmatic politician; you want to yap about a flag pin? he'll just put it on and then you can shut it. etc.

re: obama: I guess we are all saying the same thing...it just seems kind of clear to me that someone as bright as obama doesn't really get his opinion on gay marriage from the bible. he's just saying what he has to say, and i guess the religious angle gives him an easy out.
