I'll have more to say, but for now I'm just laughing at "Farnsworthless" even though I'm trying not to.

Problem is if you get rid of all those guys, then who do you go with? Are there any more decent position players in the minors? I say keep most of the vets for some continuity. It's not and never has been the fan's money anyway.

Truth is the Yankees were outsmarted. Seemed like the hitters were always looking for the wrong pitch (see A-Rod, etc.) and Cleveland was always in the right place on the field.

Starting pitching always wins in the playoffs but I think the Yanks mgmt. forgot that.

The Yanks should make changes on the field and in the booth. The Yanks should hire Chip Caray to do play by play and Joba to do analysis. The Joba move would be done to protect his arm. Then the Yanks should go out and get the entire Rockies team.

hey tulowitzki, catch that grounder in your mitkzi.

I'd like to see Joba and Hughes in pinstripes for years to come. Dose guys give me hope for the future, even though looking at their fresh scrubbed faces reminds me how old I am.

I'm not over Jeter. My man crush is as strong as ever. A-Rod I'd like to stick around but he's just gonna disappoint me next October so fuck him.

I can't imagine a Yankees team without Torre or Mariano but I'm gonna go see Van Halen without Michael Anthony so I guess I'll get over it.

I invested too much time and energy into this cockamamie team this year and what's worse now I have to root for the fucking Rockies.

And I just have to add one of the funniest things I ever read was a text message from PBdotC after the bug-infested game on Friday: "GNATS WIN!"

hey alberto callaspo, field that bunt on the infield grasspo.

It just ain't the same now that they're done...season's over for me boys.

hey pedroia, don't forget to tip the bat-boya

We could really use a first baseman who can hit AND field.

i'm in the market
