The Eels were in town this past summer? Crap! I would have loved to see them.

You know, when I was pregnant, I had all these grand visions of us going to a whole bunch of outdoor concerts with our newborn in the summer. I thought we'd be able to pack him up and take him anywhere without a problem. Didn't quite turn out that way... I hadn't bargained for the gas pain issues and the crying and the diapers that needed to be changed every 90 minutes. Or the parental exhaustion, for that matter.

Ah well, at least we're now able to go out every once in a while! Thank god for grandparents, eh?
