As for photo opportunites, yeah I get annoyed when kid is doing something embarassing and I'm not ready to capture blackmail material either.
Oh Daddy L. Here's the thing about us parents (in my opinion of course)... what we think is cool- is NOT. So, you wish to be cool enough to wear ironic t-shirts and flip-flops? For our kids, those will be the mini-shorts from the 1970s my Dad wore to track in field day... You see? No one ever let me live that one down.
