I'm surprised your son likes them, considering his earlier enjoyment of The Ramones.
Anyway, I get out of taking our kid to such shows by simply not mentioning it to her. She won't know.
We put the Wiggles on our mp3 for our road trip. I've still got it in my head 3 days later. But little T seemed to really enjoy car seat-dancing to it and it kept him quiet for a while. Sometimes you just have to suck it up. Sometimes you get to have coffee instead. 
Violet. He still loves The Ramones, but it's not a concert we could take him too. Notwithstanding the fact three of them are dead - it's not really a family vibe. Basically he loves all music, unfortunately this includes The Wiggles.
