Okay, first, yeah, now I kind of want to buy the book. So if I ever publish a book I will submit a photo of my sartorial conundrums (clogs- Nordic chic or North American no no?) to Bunnyshop.
On the puffy vest front:
If you intend on making the puffy-vest-under-suitjacket thing your trademark, then rock it for all it's worth. But remember that we haven't seen Tom Wolfe in anything but a white suit since about 1958. This is a weird look.
However, I kind of dig it. It's kind of unabomber, it's kind of crazy poli sci professor. If you must, you must. But you have to wear it with the glasses. They make the ensemble.

My first question upon reading this was "What shoes is he wearing with this getup?" and the second was "What does he look like maskless." So, I hurried to your site to look for an answer. Upon viewing, I noted the vest looks fine to me, although you do seem to have better than average taste in shirts, which you are smothering with a down filling. Now, that's a shame. But I still am okay with the vest. The shoes trouble me more than anything else. They don't do it for me.
If I was still a single girl, I'd offer to warm you up enough to lose the vest but since that's not the case, I'd like to suggest a nice scarf for days you feel like a change. Oh, and please ditch those shoes.
