Gravatar For the sake of argument, let's say you're correct. What gives us, or any other country for that matter, the right to carry out a "regime change" on a foreign nation without any provocation?

Gravatar kip152: "Without any provocation"? Are you sure you read Horowitz's article carefully? It's his argument, for that matter.

Gravatar great read Donald!..Ignoring – and distorting – the facts about how and why his country went to war, Gore repeats the slanders of the president – and therefore his country – that have become a familiar aspect of our political life...tru!

Gravatar AL Gore is the consumate hypocrite, he spent the entire presidential campaigne that he and Bill Clinton eventually won claiming that George H.W. Bush failed to take care of Saddam and failed to recognize the danger of allowing Saddam to continue to possess WMD's and seeking to develop nikes. Then for the next 8 years he and Bill Clinton didn't do anything about Saddam and now he has the audacity to attack President Bush for doing what he and Slick Willie failed to do.

As we all know hypocracy is the cornerstone of the Democrat Party.

Gravatar You've been busy this weekend! Interesting article. If anything has hamstrung this administration it's their poor sales techniques. If I remember there were about 23 reasons why we removed Saddam, WMD's were only one of them. Of course you could argue that he and his two monsters er sons were living breathing WMDs and thus needed to be removed.

Gravatar Some people never learn...

...The charges are transparently designed to destroy the authority of America’s commander-in-chief, while his troops are in harm’s way – an unprecedented sabotage of a war in progress.

America does not have a Commander in Chief. America has a President who is vested with the Executive Power pursuant to Article II of the U.S. Constitution.

Per Section 2: "The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States."

Thus, he is the Commander-in-Chief of the military. He is my President, not my Commander in Chief.

As off-base as some of Gore's positions may be, this is just flunk the final bad.
