Well, that Marine is being used by Freedom Watch who are a bunch of rich neocons. When ask on MSNBC who the Marine was in this commercial, Ari could not even answer that question!

I would bet that this soldier lost some other friends in the War on Terror, and he feels fortunate to be alive and has a guilt complex like my son has. When your best friend gets killed in the war, you want to avenge that death. A person's mind gets them to thinking that they should go back and fight and make the loss of their friend a justifiable act.

Did you know how many prisoner of war were left to die after World War II in barbed fenced in areas after the war was over? Well Vanessa, the soldiers sign up to uphold the Constitution and not to serve the government. You see, the Neocons want to make this war a Republican vs Democrat thing. Vanessa, Jesus says that a divided house will fall. Since, the Unites States gained her independence, there has been a foreign influence seeking to divide the Citizens between races, divide the north from the south (Civil War), create anxiety over Republican vs Democrat.
Vanessa, it is a mirage that you are seeing in the United States or maybe a better term would be a grand illusion. It is called the fight of the individual against collectivism. There is no difference in the Republican Party and the Democrat Party right now, as each party is taking their marching orders from AIPAC and the CFR and the WTO and NAFTA and CAFTA has gutted the soveignty of this once grand United States.
The individual is lost in the battle on both fronts. There is a presidential candidate running for President who upholds the Constitution, and his name is Dr. Ron Paul. Lobbyist do not even bother going to his office in Congress (twenty years nearly in office from 14th district of Texas), and Dr. Paul does not even take part in the pension package in Congress that he says is unconstitutional. And this is unheard of, Dr. Paul actually returns part of his spending budget every year to the US Treasury.
There is only one side that is right in this War on Terror, Vanessa, and that is the time has come for the United States to end its foreign interventionist policies that have created the "blowback" that caused 911 to happen. You can even read about "blowback" in the "911 Commission Report" if you want to call that real piece of work a real meaningful study of why 911 happened.

If that is the case, then why is it that the names I see most in the news, that are associated with supplying fresh military hardware for THIS war ... are names like:
iRobot
Force Protection
Armor Holdings
General Atomics
and not names like Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Boeing, GE, and Raytheon?
If this is such a Grand Corporate Conspiracy ... then WHY are the conspirators letting all that business and good press slip from their hands, into the hands of people who have basically come from "nowhere"?
The Big Dogs are making their money today on projects that were already in the pipeline before 911 ... they didn't have to create a war to make money. In fact, they have faced cuts in their programs -- such as the Palidin cannon that the Rumster cancelled (so much for lobbying, HA!) -- so that the resources can be used to buy more useful goods and services, like those from the small firms above.
Yours is the same fallacy as the earlier one about how corporations control America ... even as Arkansas rednecks and college dropouts were stealing the customers from the established corporations of that day.
