Gravatar i remember reading an interview with him recently; one of the big publications. not one to do many interviews, but facing the end, i guess he wanted to say a few things.

it's always interesting to someone in that position. you really get past any front that was put on earlier in life. all that's left is the bare bones. and the truth.

it was a great interview. one that made me want to go out and dig through all of his records. admittedly, i still haven't dove in to his catalog, but i've instantly fell for the two songs you posted. it's just a shame that it took me this long to find him.
