Only in California could you find a doc that would write such a book. Or was it in New York, in which case I would be saying "only in NY" but really then it would be "only in NY, but California too could have produced such a book" and my whole point is lost.

Steph: I think the doctor is in Florida, which is probably worse than CA and NY for getting things bobbed, etc.

Just plain 'ol American FEAR will stop me. I'd have to be seriously, severely disfigured in an accident, and even then I'd be scared out of my mind. No way! I don't oppose anyone else's wishes for Work -- just keep me the hell away from the knife, the injections, et al.
