OMG .. are you spying on us? I have to laugh because there was a time when that would have been what we did .. we'd walk up to the corner of Broadway/79th St around 11ish and get the Times and stop at H&H Bagels for a 8 plain and 4 onion .. sometimes we'd get some Philly as well ..

Now a days .. we get the papers delivered and bagels are a treat .. sigh .. watching both our waistlines ..

Wow. There must have been something in the alignment of the stars (or the water) this weekend — I was going through some kind of existential alone-ness isolation disconnect, too. Perhaps you were still missing your mother. I hope things improved.
