Years ago when there was a Navel Base on Portland, there was a dept. called Fleet Maintenance Group, or FMG, except over the VHF net when it was Foxtrot Mike Gulf, go figure.

Jargon is natures way of keeping anyone from developing a common language. Recalling my career in aerospace, when everything had an acronym, and that was the only reference you ever heard, I could be convinced that the problem with the Tower of Babel was that the guys on the top floors sent down for Very Light Blocks,(VLBs) to continue building higher, and got, from the paving and gardening group, Very Large Blocks (VLBs)instead, the use of which caused the tower to collapse.
One could conclude that man was placed on earth to provide God with entertainment.
